Zara Someday Sometimes (Into the Joyful)
This time it is the turn of something mouthwateringly delicious from Zara. It's Someday Sometimes from Zara's Minimal Collections. Those who cannot stand rose scents need to stay away from this patchouli, rose and raspberry jam concoction! To my nose it sounds something similar to, rather slightly reminds of Delina Exclusif from Parfums de Marly and Fashionably London by Zara which was a collaboration with Jo Malone, not an exact dupe for any of them, but the typical rose jam + wood hype that most of the perfume maisons have been releasing in recent years. Someday Sometimes was released in 2023.
The box of the perfume has the notes on the back side: rose oxyd, raspberry and patchouli. It further describes as "A heavenly bliss of pure beauty. Warmth and elegance exude from this delicate veil of embroidered rose petals adorned by the shimmering shades of raspberry and cassis and enveloped in the deep and mysterious tones of patchouli. Affirming its presence without uttering a single word, its embrace creates a soothing and exquisite aura". The opening of the fragrance is a fruity cocktail burst, with the transition of sweet rose syrup and patchouli. The dry down is mostly rose, there is a vague soapy feel to it, something clean, fresh, floral and even chypre. I would describe this scent as sweet, bright, positive, warm, rounded and mature - probably because of the chypre characteristics.

Staying power is not too bad for Zara perfumes, especially on the clothes it lingers much much longer. My scarf still smells of roses even though I wore it a week ago. Zara website describes the perfume as medium intensity. I have also realized that I am attracted to it more as the air is getting cooler day by day. I would imagine this scent to be a compliment getter. I would rather wear it in the mornings or afternoons while being out and about although it is very rounded and well-suited for the evenings or nights, unless you are going to eat a full course-meal at night - then it will negatively interfere with the aesthetics and the taste of the food.
For the cheap price, the juice in the bottle is pretty good! I do not know if I would repurchase this or not but at the moment I am quite enjoying my 30 ml bottle. It is also available in 100ml bigger bottles. Actually I am not sure about the bigger size, but 30ml bottles are refillable, you can unscrew the top part and refill if needed. I tried unscrewing mine, but it is dead stiff which is a good sign I believe :)
I would definitely recommend at least testing this fragrance on your wrist to check your tolerance for syrupy rose scents. :)
