Ring My Bella!!!

Hey there again!

It's been a couple of days that I am in the mood of floral scents. Yet the weather has gone rubbish, I still don't want to give up on my craving. Can you imagine that a week ago it was 17-19C degrees daytime and on the 30th of March I wake up to snow and -4C!!! Unfair! I insist we have spring and not winter again!

Anyway, these days my favourite scent to keep me feel warm and imagine there is hope for warmer days soon is Ring My Bella by Benefit. I normally enjoy this scent on a breezy spring or summer day. Although the main notes in the potion are florals this still reminds me of fruits and ice cream.

So being seated at my desk on this cold and snowy day with a hot mug of tea, I am going to write about a nice cocktail-y fragrance that I really enjoy at the moment. So here is a sneak peek of my desk for you:

Ring My Bella by Benefit was launched in 2011 and is included in the edition of Crescent Row collection. Comes in 30ml cocktail shaker bottles. The design of the bottle is very cheeky and fun. I like it.

I also enjoy the opening of the fragrance. It's very fresh and sweet at first, however later on when it sets down a bit you can smell the fruity creamy cocktail.

Now the notes in the perfume are:
Top: Rose, Lily and Daisy
Heart: Jasmine and Peony
Base: Patchouli, Vanilla and Musk

All I can clearly smell is the Lily and Rose, but I can swear there are sweet fruits in this formula which are not mentioned. However in a while it becomes more creamy, I guess vanilla is to blame for it. What I really like about it is that it changes during the time I wear it. As I have mentioned once I absolutely love perfumes that are not strictly linear. I enjoy when the perfume I wear changes due to heat, daytime and wearing time in general. This one is no exception and lasts on my skin for a long while and sometimes I can seriously wonder by the end of the day where the interesting smell is coming from, until I realise it is Bella!

I would probably like to have a bit of a coconut in this as well. The creaminess I get matches so well with the scent of coconut, that if they had this addition to the formula I might have loved it to the Moon and back! However, I found out there is another perfume from the collection that smells like a Malibu cocktail with all that coconut cream and fruity goodness and that one is called Lookin' to Rock Rita.

Have a good day everyone and a great week ahead!
