Autumn Haul - Soap&Glory Body Mist, Zara Mini Perfumes, Artdeco and Florex

Hello everyone!

Apologies first of all for a long period of absence. I finally managed to get some break and do what I love! So here I am with a bit of a past season haul or what I loved during this autumn.

Since I am obsessed with scents, most of my autumn favourites are scent-related. :) Soap&Glory Girligo has a very fruity scent and lingers on the body after showers. It is a nice blend of mandarin, strawberries, peach, bergamot, jasmine and musk. It reminds me a bit of Miss Dior, so I need to say that layering the two products works really well if you are into sweeter scents. Besides as days are getting colder it is great to be reminded of warmer days through the fragrances we wear. However there is just one annoying thing with this product, it's the bottle and spraying, because your hands get sticky while you are massaging the product into the skin, holding the bottle becomes more of a struggle - it starts slipping off. However all together it is a great moisturising product.

Now, as I was shopping in Zara I could not leave those mini EDTs unnoticed, could I? Zara Vanilla Wood and Sugar Rose are just amazing! Although I did not keep them for a long while (it was a giveaway), I think they both would be a great little something to anyone's wardrobe. Vanilla Wood is more of a heavy, wintery and warm scent. It consists of vanilla, cacao pod, praline, peach and mandarin orange. It smells quite sophisticated and is mostly an evening wear. Sugar Rose is typically floral and slightly sweet scent in a fresher meaning of sweet. Top notes consist of lemon, mid notes - rose and jasmine and base consists of musk and cedar. I would prefer to have this as a daywear.

Another product that I found was useful for enhancing any eyeshadow was Artdeco Eyeshadow Base. It is a base and not a primer - I had come to realise there is a difference between the two after testing some products. Do not get me wrong, it does enhance the colour of powder eyeshadows, but no matter what it says in the product description, the eyeshadow still collects in my eyelid crease. Probably this does not work well with my oily lids. On the other had Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion does the job perfectly. I will happily stick to the old great friend of mine.

Florex Vanilla Candle smells simply amazing! Florex is a sheepmilk soap making brand. It also has some deco, candle and oil products. I love a great candle that can last for a long time and fill the room with a beautiful scent. This is a great quality product, I have had it for a long time now and believe me there is still half of the glass to go. What can be better on a cold rainy day than a nice bath, a mug of hot chocolate, some candlelight and a great movie to watch?

Hope you all enjoy the weekend! Warm hugs xx
