Mirage Daydream EDT by Oriflame
Hello yet again!
Today I wanted to tell you about a recent discovery of mine! If anyone liked subtle and slightly sweet scents, this could have been a real gem had it proper staying power. Now, I've had this perfume for a while and panicked a bit when the bottle was half gone. So I ordered another one to make sure I can use it everyday and reapply when needed.

The original Mirage by Oriflame was launched in 2010 and I have read lots of great reviews on this. However, I believe it smells more mature. The Mirage Daydream, as opposed to the original one, is a great scent for everyday wear. It smells like vanilla whipped cream, chestnuts and a bit of cocoa. Top notes consist of whipped cream and chestnut, middle notes of lily, jasmine and vanilla (but all you can smell is just vanilla), and the base notes are Peru balsam, cedar and cacao pod. It was created by Marie Salamagne in 2013 and comes in beautiful pink ombre bottles of 50ml. And although it was a limited collection, you can still order this lovely scent from Oriflame catalogs when it appears there from time to time. It was so weird for me to find out that this lady has also created another favourite scent of mine for Yves Rocher - So Elixir. When I like two scents created by the same nose behind them, what are the odds that I will not fall for the rest? So much looking forward to exploring and discovering more scents from Marie Salamagne!
Mirage Daydream is a unique scent - it turns into different things on different people. I was quite intrigued reading the reviews. Lots of people claim it turns into quite dry and crispy cedar once they have worn it for a couple of hours. On me it is just sweet cream and airy soft feminine scent. Since the day I got this, I had so many compliments and questions both from men and women. For some reason this reminds me of a chewing gum, like a sweet cotton chewing gum scent with a bit of milkiness in it. Alas, it is lacking staying power on me. Lasts about 3-4 hours. However, I quite like the dry down on my skin, it is very thin and I always want to breathe that in. Hope you can get along with and appreciate this scent once you have a chance of a sniff or when you decide to use it. :) Have a great week everyone!
