Happydisiac by Oriflame

Good time of the day! Today is going to be about happy feelings, happy happy happy!
The perfume I got for myself this September is called Happydisiac (EDT) and it was introduced by Oriflame as a formula of happiness finally found! As the name suggests it is a very happy, playful and sweet scent. Sweet in a fresh and summery way. The well known perfumer Olivier Cresp has collaborated with Elise Benat and they created a scent that will momentarily make you much happier, invigorated and fresh. The notes used in the potion were based on a survey about the ingredients of perfumes that make the consumers happy.

The top notes consist of pineapple, pear and apple, mid notes are wild strawberry, Egyptian jasmine and cranberry. The base and closing notes are cedar, Madagascan vanilla and musk. Now, it definitely opens up with sparkly fruits and sweetness of strawberry and pear, once it gets a bit settled down I can also sense the crispiness of jasmine, and at the dry down I can smell really warm musk. Did you know that jasmine scent is considered to be anti depressant and is widely used in aromatherapy? About the fruit scents - there is nothing special to explain. The smell reminds me about warm and happy days and basically makes my mood go up. It is generally a very juicy and summery perfume.

The design of the bottle is quite interesting as well. It has a triangle shape and there are circles on both sides so they are transparent on the front and it reminds me of hypnotic circles that make you go under a happy mood also by just looking at the bottle. Do give it a try and see whether the notes can actually influence your sensations! ;) <3
