Zara Nuit

Let's talk about another Zara perfume today, shall we?

If anything, this one smells of amber, a bit of chocolate and baby powder - all in a beautiful and subtle manner. I have been interested in Zara perfumes since the first time I sniffed them. And to tell the truth, since these are quite affordable they always had a problem with longevity. 

Zara Nuit was a beautiful surprise to my nose. I sprayed just a little bit on my outer side of hand instead of inside the wrist, and could still smell it 5 hours later. There was this ambery-powdery scent that was very soothing and relaxing. I guess because this is Eau de Parfum, the power is much better and smells really sophisticated. It does not scream too loud, but adds that gentle feminine vibe.

Now, Zara Nuit was introduced in 2013 as one of the three new scents - Matin, Soir and Nuit. It comes as a 100ml EDT. The top notes consist of bergamot (I do not get that cirtusy opening to tell the truth), at the heart of the potion are strawberry and rosewood - those two are very well balanced, less strawberry and more powdery rosewood. And the base notes consist of vanilla and amber. Amber is all I can say! If anyone asks for a brief description - this one is easy - amber, vanilla and powder.
