Halloween Fleur by J. Del Pozo

Ta daah! It's time for another recent favourite of mine!!! Went to Hermitage again this week and this smell really warmed my heart.
To tell the truth I was not expecting the 30 ml bottle to be this cute, and that purple bow adds a little of "Tresor" style to it. Yet again another creation by Jesus Del Pozo did not leave me disappointed.

Here is the pyramid of notes for Halloween Fleur:
Top: Pear, mandarin orange and violet leaf,
Heart: Orchid, Jasmine Sambac and lilac,
Base: Cashmere wood, amber and musk.

Fleur was launched in 2013 and noses behind this scent are designers Carlos Benaim, Nicolas Beaulieu and Olivier Polge. Bottle has the same design as the other Halloween line fragrances, however this time it is matte champagne-gold color. The scent starts with a fresh juicy sweetness and gradually settles into creaminess of cashmere wood. Not one of my typical choices for fragrance (not a huge fan of cream and/or peppery dust), however it is really subtle, very young yet sophisticated. I think this time I was really drawn to orchid notes in the composition, let alone that warm feeling that amber and musk leave.

This is definitely a springtime wear, it can symbolize new beginnings, a fresh start, innocence and youthfulness when everyone is allowed to dream and be happy. At the same time it is a very clean scent, no complications, however I cannot say it is linear, it develops during the time. The top notes evaporate after about 20-30 minutes and the heartwarming flowers walk in, once they spin your head and swipe you off the ground you are left to land on the soft and warm cream-like scent after a couple of hours. I really like this, it is not muted at all, it is quite bright and will definitely be noticed.

Hope you too can get to sniff or test this beauty! xx
